Design ! I’ve been using Claude code + vercel on all my projects, most recently my portfolio: So many more vibe coding tools I’m exciting to delve into :)

designers who ship are the most dangerous people in tech. they see what users need AND can build it. vibe coding just removed the last gate between design thinking and working software.

Figma to Claude" is the interesting bit here, because the bottleneck is usually turning polished mocks into shippable code without losing intent. If the course teaches prompt structure and component constraints, that’s actually useful.

This is wild timing — I just shipped a Vibe Design post on Xiaohongshu that blew up (6k+ collects). The insight: designers who can ship are rare, but the gap isn't skill — it's the iteration speed. Claude Code collapses that gap to near zero.

designers who can ship are terrifying in the best way. the ones i've worked with who picked up claude code basically became full stack overnight

The Figma to Claude bridge is brilliant - designers who can prototype their own ideas without waiting for dev cycles are going to dominate. Seen too many great concepts die in handoff hell.

Designers who ship > designers who only design. This is the right move. I'm not a designer but I used Claude Code to build a full crypto trading scanner with dual themes — dark mode for night sessions and a cream/luxury mode for daytime. Real-time charts, pattern detection overlays, order book depth visualization. Zero design background. Claude handled the entire UI layer while I focused on what the data should look like. The gap between "idea person" and "person who ships" has never been smaller.

Karpathy coined "vibe coding" in Feb 2025. By Dec, he called it obsolete. Not because it failed - because it exposed the real bottleneck: context, not capability. 25% of YC W25 startups: 95% AI-generated code. Claude Code: $1B ARR in 6 months. Most still didn't ship.

The Figma-to-Claude pipeline is what makes this real for designers. Design sense plus the ability to actually ship the thing you designed is a rare combination - and now it's more accessible than ever. Designers who learn Claude Code have a genuine edge in any product team.

been watching designers get faster than devs with this. describe the intent, iterate right there. the figma handoff doc starts feeling like a fax machine. once you see someone ship a polished UI in an afternoon this way, you can't unsee it
