Agents are long-lived, logical entities that live in the data layer. Collaborative, multi-agent systems are a distributed data problem. The substrate for that is a sync engine:

Electric Agents is the first agent platform built on sync. It gives you the primitives to run managed agents on your own infra and your own terms:

sync framing tracks. git itself is a sync protocol that’s been battle-tested for 20 years, and a lot of agent state genuinely belongs in it. been building around exactly that idea

When I first discovered Electric 8 months ago it was because I was building and learning) an early version of my personal agent harness with local first UI. The goal intention was syncing that local state so I could message the agent from a "thin" mobile app but still share the same context, access artifacts it produced, sessions etc, in realtime. I ended up taking another approach (way more primitive 😂), and since then iterated on that harness a couple of times. Going to circle to Electric and try this out for sure. Great stuff guys.

Exactly. Multi-agent isn’t scale it’s state staying in sync

Multi-agent isn’t just syncing data It’s coordinating participants with their own state and authority
