When I was at my sickest with Long Covid, my tech savvy (20-something) sons put a VR headset on me & it was profoundly moving to be sitting "outside" in a virtual space, with a view of mountains, & birds calling. It was incredibly healing & was the portal to elsewhere I needed.

Do these things have any positive impact on the patient's well-being? If so, it is good.

Patients with such sound consciousness and activities level, why are they intubated, and how are they tolerating it?

Impressive treatment for what we used to call ICU-it is.These patients are constantly stimulated by noise, lights & procdures. After a couple of weeks, it takes a huge toll on their cognitive state. Love this!

Great! But don’t even think of making the nurses responsible for managing the device or chart about it. They have too much to do already……….

@vqmismatch Is it covered by insurance or paid by the hospital? we are having a tough time to get it for our patients for neuro rehabilitation: expensive and not enough evidence.
