🐤 Android Canary 2609 is here with a preview of a highly requested security feature: A global lock for Quick Settings! (As usual, Canary is highly experimental & not recommended for daily use!) With this new setting, you can require your device to be unlocked to toggle certain Quick Settings. When enabled, your phone must be unlocked to toggle Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Mobile Data, & Airplane Mode. Go to Settings > Security & privacy > Device unlock or Settings > Display & touch > Lock screen to enable it. Please test this feature and tell us your thoughts!

My initial problem with Liquid Glass was that it was terrible for accessibility despite how beautiful it looks it certain places. There is literally only one way to solve this readability issue – make the glass frosted/opaque. And from the public backlash that Apple received it was pretty obvious that it was a matter of time before they made this change. The problem now is that when you make it opaque, it barely looks any different from iOS 18, yet it keeps eating up resources and draining your battery. 3 betas in, and I still feel like this design direction was a big mistake.

Thanks to an Android app called Liquid Glass, I can finally achieve an almost limitless Liquid Glass lock screen experience on One UI. It supports depth effects, lets you tweak all kinds of glass parameters, and even allows full font customization. You can use virtually any font you download, giving you an incredible level of freedom. The results are genuinely stunning. The biggest downside is that the setup is quite complicated. Adjusting the clock, in particular, takes a lot of steps instead of being something you can edit directly, so the learning curve is fairly steep. I really hope the developer can make the customization process more intuitive in future updates, and add more language options, especially Chinese, so more users can enjoy it.

made this with text to lottie and claude code my workflow: design something in figma or just make a rough draft. then ask claude to animate it you'd be surprised how easy it is to add easings, masks, transforms, text effects and all the motion details you can also ask claude to export it as a gif, mp4, png sequence, resize it in different aspect ratios claude and codex already creates something with taste and if you know what you want to create, this workflow is really useful and btw, it's free

$A memory like this: I’ve been exploring Liquid Glass for at least one year now, recreating many versions exactly nine all built with totally different techniques. I came to a realization. iOS 26, at least for me, missed part of the purpose. Liquid Glass is often used as decoration, while refraction could become the core of the user experience. Not an embellishment, but interaction itself. By turning a glass panel, refraction reveals something else: another app, another image, another portal. That’s when it clicked. You look through one image, turn slightly, and suddenly you’re somewhere else. Same moment, different feeling. I really hope Apple takes this approach to the next level. Vibecoded with WebGL.$

iPhone Takes a Photo of You Every 5 Seconds While you’re using your iPhone, it takes a photo of you every 5 seconds. More precisely - when you pick up or put down your iPhone, and also when it’s unlocked and sits motionless for a long time, the Face ID sensors take pictures every 5 seconds. You can see this through the infrared lens: it looks like the iPhone is taking a photo in the dark with a flash. Even if you cover the sensor, it will still keep trying to take a picture. In reality, of course, the iPhone isn’t taking photos. It scans your face to figure out whether you’re looking at it. In Face ID settings this mode is called Attention Awareness. You’re working on your iPhone, it’s charging, you get a call - and the iPhone “takes pictures” with the Face ID camera. As soon as it realizes you’re looking at it, the ringtone gets quieter. The same thing works with alarms and other notifications. This is not actually taking photos - it’s the TrueDepth infrared sensors scanning your face for the Attention Aware Features. How to turn this off on iPhone. You need to disable Attention Aware Features. Method 1 (main one): 1. Open Settings. 2. Tap Face ID & Passcode. 3. Enter your passcode. 4. Find Attention Aware Features and turn it off. Method 2 (via Accessibility): 1. Open Settings → Accessibility. 2. Tap Face ID & Attention. 3. Turn off Attention Aware Features. After that, your iPhone will stop automatically lowering the volume of calls, alarms, and notifications when you’re looking at the screen, and it won’t scan your face as actively for “attention.”

While we're getting ready for the beta, there's one important thing to do right now. Make sure you don’t lose access to your account - save your private key. DeNet Storage is a decentralized app. No one can access your account except you, not even us. Your private key is the only way in. Lose it, and you lose everything: your account, beta access, progress, and rewards. 🔸Go to Settings 🔸Find your private key 🔸Make sure you store it somewhere safe 🔸Wait for beta start date announcement this Friday🔥 Not sure what a private key is? 💬 We get asked When should a strategy be re-tested or updated? ❕ Answer from a GT App Top Trader: A strategy should be re-tested when its real behavior no longer matches what was expected. 🔸 Performance drift If returns drop or drawdowns expand compared to the usual range, it is time to re-test. The goal is to confirm whether the edge is still there. 🔸 Market change A strategy can work in one market phase and struggle in another. After a clear shift in volatility or trend behavior, re-testing helps avoid running outdated settings. 🔸 Planned maintenance Even without problems, periodic re-testing keeps the setup healthy. It helps catch slow changes before they turn into a bigger issue. You can always adjust your strategy settings anytime on GT App -

MiniMax H3 is now on Magnific and honestly, there’s a lot you can do with it. You can mix text, images, videos and audio in a single prompt up to 9 images, 3 videos and 3 audio references. Start creating now: It can generate up to 15s of 2K video with synced sound, including voice, music and effects. And you can go beyond generation too: edit clips, remove objects, transfer motion, and control the camera, character and voice. But the multi-reference workflow is probably my favorite. Give it your product, character, environment and motion references, and H3 pulls everything together. It feels like a much easier way to go from an idea to an actual finished video.

DMT is the only Psychedelic drug that doesn't induce Tolerance. If you do psilocybin or LSD multiple days in a row you will have to keep uping your dose and the effects will be lessened. With DMT, you can do it over & over again and get the same effect.

HERMES AGENT NOW SUPPORTS COMPUTER USE ON WINDOWS AND LINUX. CLICKS, TYPES, SCROLLS YOUR DESKTOP IN THE BACKGROUND WHILE YOU WORK. computer use was macOS only. now it works on Windows and Linux too via Cua.
