iOS 26's Liquid Glass uses real-time rendering and can dynamically react to movement to change the way that light reflects off of buttons, switches, sliders, side bars, tab bars, and more. Windows 10’s Fluent Design says hey 👋

Windows 10 design was much better than w11.

Windows Vista did that on the start orb

I think Apple did took some inspirations but added their own sauce to add light bending behind glass. Not sure how its gonna impact battery life in long term though

it's called the Reveal effect

I loved this look when Fluent Design debuted and still do! Do they still have any of these effects in Windows 11?

When’s the next big reveal?

Yes this reveal effect was present long back in 2019 in Windows 10

Windows is evolving, but BACKWARDS! From 11 > 10 > 8.1 > 7

That's the Reveal Effect, which is very different from Liquid Glass. The final implementations in Windows Vista, 7, and 10 were nowhere near Liquid Glass in beta.

I prefer Aero Glass than that
