🌍 Empowering Somalia’s Renewable Energy Future! ☀️ The Somali Green Energy Association (SOGEA) recently hosted a transformative Solar PV Installation Workshop in Mogadishu — and the response was extraordinary! We planned for just 30 participants, but nearly 500 applications poured in from enthusiastic university graduates in Electrical Engineering, Environmental Science, and Business — a testament to the growing interest in clean energy careers. This overwhelming interest highlights two key realities: ✅ A critical skills gap in Somalia’s renewable energy sector ✅ A rising enthusiasm among youth and women to drive change After a competitive selection process, 30 finalists (17 males, 13 females) were trained to install 500W standalone off-grid solar systems. This hands-on experience gave them essential technical skills, increasing their job readiness and capacity to scale clean energy solutions across Somalia. We are especially proud of participants like Jawahir, an electrical engineer, who shared how this training boosted her confidence and opened new doors in a field where women are still underrepresented. Thank you Rep. Eric Burlison for highlighting how imperative FFRDCs (Federally Funded Research and Development Centers) are to UFO crash retrieval and reverse engineering activities. I talk about FFRDCs ad nauseam, and state to an annoying degree that specific FFRDCs, specifically MITRE , The Aerospace Corporation , RAND , Lincoln Laboratory , and DOE/NNSA National Lab FFRDCs such as Sandia National Labs , Oak Ridge Lab , Los Alamos National Laboratory , and Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory operate as the missing link in the UFO legacy program structure. As GOCO (government-owned contractor-operated) institutions, FFRDCs serve as subject matter experts and R&D aces, answerable to their US Government sponsor for long-term and highly specialized needs that their USG sponsor could not accomplish in-house. Existing as quasi-government institutions, FFRDCs are the perfect apparatus for government customers to leverage for UFO RDT&E work while keeping core secrets, materials, deliverables, reports, institutional knowledge, etc "in-house". Effectively, FFRDCs can arbitrate access to knowledge and information to DIB prime contractors, the most security vulnerable piece of the UFO legacy program structure. FFRDC and GOCO institutions are the PERFECT tool for relevant government customers to be "hands off" and maintain "plausible deniability" for covert UFO projects, safely shoveling program elements within semi-private FFRDCs whilst still retaining full control and access to the project. Furthermore, DOE/NNSA FFRDC National Labs like those listed above enjoy UNPARALLED security..... Since these sites deal with nuclear technology and secrets, DOE National Labs may harness the 1954 Atomic Energy Act to leverage restricted data, special nuclear material, trans-classified foreign nuclear information, and more to misclassify UFO information, wreckage, materials, etc. Such statuatory protocols enacted by the precursor to the U.S. Department of Energy , the Atomic Energy Commission, are NOT subject to declassification review and can keep such secrets deep-sixed from even a POTUS declassification Executive Order. I theorize that DOE/NNSA National Lab FFRDCs, leverage the NEST (Nuclear Energy Support Team) and the OST (Office of Secure Transportation), whose authorities are both derived from the above 1954 Atomic Energy Act, to recover, safeguard, and transport recovered UFO materials across the continental United States. I have a whole nearly 3-hour exploration into one such National Lab, Sandia, worth checking out to understand everything above: Once again, Rep. Eric Burlison , I wonder why, when you sent interrogatories to the Aerospace Corporation, they sent two men green behind the gills to meet with you instead of individuals like Edward C. 🚨Labour and Lib Dem MPs just voted to INCREASE the cost of energy, food, shipping, housing, heating and holidays by voting for Ed Miliband’s new Net Zero target. One of the reasons I asked to stay in this brief was my time in the Department and seeing how badly we were making decisions about climate and energy. There’s simply no scrutiny or proper analysis of what these targets are doing to jobs, the cost of living or to the competitiveness of our industry. The Minister bringing it forward refused to take a single intervention. She did not answer a single question. I’m sorry, but that is simply not good enough. MP after MP cited bogus figures or praised the Climate Change Committee’s analysis without being even slightly troubled that their cost of offshore wind was wrong by a factor of three. Get the cost of energy wrong and all your other assumptions about the cost of living and the economy will be wrong too. I am proud Kemi Badenoch and I have changed our party’s position. We are the only party who have said we should measure the offshoring of emissions. We are the only party who have a plan to make electricity cheaper without costing the taxpayer a penny. We are the only party with a fully costed plan to axe the Carbon Tax which is replacing clean British industry with dirtier foreign imports. This debate shows why Parliament is not working. Poor analysis let off the hook by poor scrutiny. So-called impact assessments which are written to be as impenetrable as possible, and which MPs show no interest in reading or questioning. We need fewer virtue signalling MPs and many more who can read modelling assumptions.

The largest number of proposals has been submitted in the energy sector, which has become one of the key priorities following the winter. Other priority areas include dual-use technology manufacturing, infrastructure, and critical minerals. The U.S.-Ukraine Reconstruction Investment Fund is part of our strategic partnership with the United States. Its successful operation demonstrates that Ukraine offers unique expertise and technologies and can be as a successful business case.
