That same could happen to any country that it’s careless about who is getting in the country and doing what it’s contrary to the culture of it.

This portrays one perspective on pre-revolutionary Iran. Another might depict the horrors of the Shah’s torture chambers or the desperation of the 1000’s disappeared into dungeons. He oppressed and savaged his own people-supported by the US. There is a reason he was deposed.
