Don't romanticise the shah's era, majority of the people lived in poverty, the western clothes were forced on the women and any women who wanted to cover herself was stripped or beaten to the point where women would be scared to leave their homes and some killed themselves, the majority of the population lived in poverty and millions died in a famine
