Economist Chris Martenson says the timing is hard to ignore, even though he doesn't love where it leads: "It felt to me like there was actually a fairly sustained attack on world energy output at that point in time, one at the Strait and two in Russia at the same time. Or it's one of the biggest coincidences ever. And I hate being a coincidence theorist, because there's usually a better explanation."
