The logic behind that patience is easy enough to follow. Two months ago the ask was ending the war, and it now includes unfrozen assets, reparations from every country that joined in, and a halt to hostilities well past Iran's own borders, so each round of waiting has priced higher than the one before it. Underneath the concessions sits a bigger wager, that the dollar's reserve status cracks within a few years and whoever holds the physical gold ends up on top, with America nowhere near that list.
