Talk about an excellent return on investment for Iran. Inducing the expenditure of 60-70x Patriot interceptors plus 12+ higher-end and far more precious MIM-401 (i.e., THAAD) interceptors to boot, all in exchange for "about 20" Iranian ballistic missiles. Iran even managed to damage some American aircraft on the ground. I don't know how many ballistic missiles Iran has left and, as such, how many more times it can replicate such a salvo, but the United States simply cannot afford to go through another three or four such exchanges unless it wants to experience strategic insolvency vis-a-vis China for a time. China really needs to send Iran some kind of gift for inducing the MIM-401 interceptors alone (the video, reportedly recent, shows debris from a MIM-401 that landed in Syria). Note that the report says that "The U.S. military fired up to 70 or more of its high-end air defense interceptors." This doesn't rule out any Jordanian Patriot launches (Jordanian Patriots are limited to the older PAC-2 interceptors). As I've been saying, we really need to distinguish between PAC-2, PAC-3 CRI, and PAC-3 MSE interceptors. The widely circulating CSIS estimate from July for "Patriot" is only for PAC-3 CRI and PAC-3 MSE, not PAC-2. PAC-3 MSE is the most capable and the most important of the three vis-a-vis not just Iran but also China and Russia.

WOW v14.3.2 is very decisive and is able to execute with great confidence. Big fan. That said, in my first drive it messed up *spectacularly* twice in <15 miles of suburban driving. In one instance, it swerved out of its through lane of traffic into a lane that was ending, right as it was ending. It was not trying to overtake any vehicles, it just swerved over violently. ugh The other, in the video below, it did not consider that the left lane was turn-only, and tried to use it overtake other vehicles while their light was red. (this intersection begins with left turn green and through-lanes red) It is still very slow to merge into the proper lane in time for a turn, and ended up cutting off a large truck to make its turn.
