Now, Russians have improved them and sent them back to Iran, and Iranians were using them against Gulf States and U.S. bases in Gulf. So, you can see this modern autocratic group cooperating, converging, learning military technologies from one another. We will also learn over the next weeks and months the degree to which Russian and Chinese inputs were important to Iran, and to Iran's ability to resist U.S. pressure so far. So, again, it's not an alliance of close friends. These are countries that in some ways are suspicious of one another. They don't share single ideology, but they share military tactics, financial practices, and suspicion of language of liberal democracy.

Trump promised the War in Iran would end in unconditional surrender. It did - from us. Asymmetric warfare has changed the math. Ukraine is proving it against Russia. Iran just proved it against the United States. You don't need nuclear weapons or a massive military to be a strategic power anymore. You need drones, geography and the willingness to make the cost high enough. This defeat proves that military power alone has real limits — especially when used recklessly and in isolation from allies. The United States has to reckon with what that means - and fast. If a small country with cheap drones can back down the United States, what does that mean for every U.S. ally who counts on our word?
