🇮🇶 Iraqi security forces have launched an investigation into the attack that struck Kirkuk Airport and the Al-Aruba neighborhood. A fuse from a 122mm Grad rocket, manufactured in 2023, was recovered at the site. The Grad is a Soviet-designed artillery rocket widely used by state militaries and non-state groups across the region, including Kurdish factions, PMF-aligned groups, and militants in Syria.
