irish and german people offering eachother cake
11 条评论

I made this a few years ago and it has resulted in people shouting kuchen? to me wherever I go. Anyway here it is again. If you want to see more irish/german comedy I do a lot in my show. Only four dates left Newbridge 2nd May Cork City, 3rd May Belfast, 9th May Dublin, 30th May

My mother is Dutch. When she came to live here in 1982, she offered our neighbour tea… he said “ah no, not at all, don’t be going to any trouble.” So she sat down. He called again some weeks later. “Will you have tea, Tom?” “I’d better say yes this time or I’ll get f*ck all!!”

🤣 🤣🤣 Haha. Brilliant. Never knew the Irish did the etiquette dance. Our Japanese family and extended family do this too. We also never visit empty handed. 🎁🎁🎁 🇯🇵🇯🇵🇯🇵

The Irish is giving Mrs Doyle 😂 love it

I like that you've included the 3 time rule, you can only deny it twice then the third time you get the real answer.

the latest from google #blackfriday #cybermonday

This is art.

My German mother would never turn down cake

So you guys have tarof like us Iranians do 😁

I know these sweet little gestures from my older aunts from the countryside. It is said that you have to refuse 5x minimum, before you take a piece. It means honoring the efforts the host made and also honoring the food itself. I think that´s beautiful.

How many times ‘should’ an Irish person refuse a bit of cake?
