IronSight turns 2D range footage into a replayable 4D world -- with shot detection, 3D target tracking, and a camera you can move anywhere. Seeing my own runs reconstructed from every angle is ridiculously fun. Can't wait till we can run this tech in real time.

Single video → a reframeable 4D Gaussian Splatting scene. Not a sequence of separately built 3D frames played back like a video. This is one continuous space-time scene, reconstructed from a single clip shot on an iPhone 16. We combine feed-forward Gaussian generation, 3D tracking, and 4D Gaussian Splatting, aiming to deliver it as a compact 4D video file that runs on your phone. Still early R&D. The goal: make 4DGS something anyone can create and experience, not just researchers with a camera rig.

The new Krea 3D feature is insanely good. You can turn an image into a 3D model to move & rotate in space - and it guides real-time scene generation. Watch me move this couch around a living room ⬇️

Claude Opus 4.8 + OpenClaw now turns a restaurant's menu photos into 3D models guests can view, customize and order, then mails the owner a postcard with the QR…on autopilot. here's how agencies can land recurring contracts with this system: - scans every restaurant in a city in real time - pulls their real reviews, ratings, and reviewer-uploaded food photos - turns each dish photo into an interactive 3D model - samples the brand color straight from the restaurant's photos - guests can view each dish, customize it, and order on the spot - writes a printed postcard about their best dish - mails it to the registered office, addressed to the owner, with a QR to the live 3D menu every step from the scrape to the 3D models to the mailbox is automated reply "3D" + RT and i'll send you a free guide so you can build this too (must be following so i can DM you)

SAM 3D Body turns video into motion capture, full-body 3D mesh from footage. Runs in ComfyUI, locally or on Comfy Cloud. Extract motion from a recording → bring it into Blender → control the camera → use the result with Seedance 2.5 More control over body motion and camera movement. To try this workflows, link below 👇

Just built a 3D Strava/Apple Health fitness visualizer in Omma AI (by Spline) that turns .gpx files into 3D terrain with live metrics. Drag, drop, and watch your run come to life in real-time. Lmk if you want to remix and test with your own data!

China just dropped an open source model that turns any phone into a 3D scanner you point it at a room and walk through it the whole space builds itself into a 3D point cloud in real time as the camera moves, no LiDAR and no depth sensor anywhere it held a full 13 minute walkthrough at 25,000 frames without the map drifting or collapsing > ~20 fps on a single GPU > works indoors and outdoors from plain footage > the scan normally needs a $50,000 rig and a technician > Apache 2.0 and runs fully offline on your machine repo in the reply

⚡NEW: 🇮🇷 Iran Can Now Strike Anywhere in the World For the first time, the IRGC launched a long-range missile from a warship, which they claim allows them to strike any target around the world. The missile traveled 750 km in a test launch before hitting a target in the Iranian desert. "Through this new achievement, our range of influence and naval power have increased to any point required."

A Gaussian Splat can become a world where Robots and AI agents can act. In our latest OVER Research experiment, we placed a robot inside a real-world 3D capture, with a VLM making decisions based on what it sees. At every step, the robot holds a pose in the reconstruction, gets a newly rendered view of the environment, takes an action, moves, and sees the world again from its new position. Why does this matter? Because 3D captures can become more than reconstructions to explore. They can become environments where embodied AI and robots can navigate, act, be evaluated and eventually train across real-world spaces at scale. Capture a place once. Then turn it into a world where AI and Robots can act. The full experiment, including what we discovered once we actually put the loop to the test:

I’ve been sent this footage by a fellow Patriot As you can see from the time stamp this is boat people being moved into a block of flats in Aberdeen in the early hours of the morning They moved them in at 4.20am, obviously to avoid detection and scrutiny We were never asked We never have our consent They’ve all got to go back

A guy from China just built a system that reshapes thousands of glowing particles into a jellyfish, a dragon, a statue, and a samurai. Just by moving his hands in front of a camera. Just a webcam reading his hand position. Every particle recalculates in real time. 60 frames per second. Not pre-rendered. Not a recording. Live. Clench both fists and the entire thing collapses into nothing. The whole setup runs on a regular camera and a GPU particle system. No special hardware. This is where hand tracking, computer vision, and real-time graphics have gotten. And most people haven't noticed.

Create a 3D model from a single image, set of images or a text prompt in < 1 minute 😮‍💨 This new AI paper called CAT3D shows us that it’ll keep getting easier to produce 3D models from 2D images — whether it’s a sparser real world 3D scan (a few photos instead of hundreds) or your favorite 2D image generator like Midjourney (just an image). How does this magic work? “This architecture is similar to video diffusion models, but with camera pose embeddings for each image instead of time embeddings. The generated views are passed into a robust 3D reconstruction pipeline to create the 3D representation (Zip-NeRF or 3DGS)”

In the Halo games, we never really see a Pelican land and takeoff using their landing gear, apart from 1 shot in Halo Infinite, and Microsoft Flight simulator where you can fly the pelican. So animating this shot trying to get it feel realistic with no real reference was fun.

this AI agent runs multiple merch brands on tiktok and instagram, from slack...on autopilot. here's how solopreneurs can run a viral merch business without touching design or video: - scans tiktok and instagram for what's actually going viral - turns each trend into a short-form video script - generates an AI video that matches each trend - posts to every platform at peak times - designs matching merch, lists it live, links in the pinned comment - replies to every comment, kills duds, scales winners every step from a viral trend to a sold shirt is automated reply "MERCH" + RT and i'll send you the full setup so you can run this too

What If Your Warehouse Could Spot a Dangerous Situation Before a Person Does? That's where computer vision gets really useful. Using YOLO11, cameras can detect and track forklifts, AGVs, workers, pallets and other hazards in real time. It can also use pose estimation to spot unsafe lifting or bending and tracking to monitor how people and vehicles move around each other. You can even combine it with IoT sensors and warehouse systems to react to hazards instead of simply recording them. Occlusion, blind spots, glare and poor lighting can still hurt detection accuracy. That's why good camera placement and sensor fusion matter.
