I have 11 and almost 14 year old sons. My oldest is so excited to get his permit next year and every time he brings it up, I have to hold back tears knowing that signing the paperwork for him to drive is also potentially signing his life away to the government.

This man doesn’t know what he’s talking about either. Acts are not laws. They are legal contracts written by the legislature. That is not the same thing as laws the people make by acceptance/validation of jury decisions recorded in real time law-making as case law. The selective service can’t force a man and woman to do anything. They can only force a U.S Citizen via legal contract. If you don’t care for benefits from the state…don’t sign their contracts. You have a right as an American to say NO.
