How are people still saying digital art is cheating when generative AI exists. THAT'S what they should be focusing their attention and scrutiny on, not genuine hardworking artists

Maybe what those hate comment means by cheating is the warping feature of digital art But yeah u basically can do the same trick on traditional but with extra step. good vid nonetheless

A friend of mine went to study classical realism in Florence with pencil, charcoal and oil paints. They used a pin and string to get proportions right especially at the start. Pretty much exactly what you're using your tools to do. Keep on keeping on.

It's fun because traditional art uses these tricks too

Definitely not!

It's an ignorant and jealous take. I would execute the first 5 as an example for others, not calmly explain the matter

It's not cheating it's dope

Digital art is not the same as AI slop. In my view, it's a valid medium, with its own pros & cons, just like other mediums, & it still requires skill.

same folks that are calling digital art "cheating" don't have any issue with generative AI "STEALING" from artists. Also, thank you for your tutorials!! I hope you keep making these helpful contents! 💕

Digital art has its own challenges - I think the conveniences outweigh them, but even just using a tablet is like relearning how to use a pen Getting used to having no display or a shiny surface takes practice And ppl who freehand w a mouse are on the hardest difficulty of all
