@Thebestfigen It WASN’T digital. It was hand drawn, photographed frame by frame which is why they reused the motion. I get it. I do. But, it took far more effort in those days to create these films than it does today or did even 20 years ago.

@Thebestfigen So we complain about modern video game studios, but Disney has been recycling the same level, charging full price, and selling us DLCs since 1967 and we didn’t even notice.

@Thebestfigen It’s not re-used animation . It’s re-redrawn completely. They only retained the actors path and movement in the scene for perceived perspective and symmetry .

@Thebestfigen They are both hand animated, not digital. It isn't plagerism but rather the same studio/company re-using rotoscoped footage for different projects. A common practice in early animation. They drew every frame, by hand.

@Thebestfigen this isn't reuse, it's plagiarism with extra steps digital doesn't mean disposable. every piece has a creator who deserves credit and compensation the whole "everything's free on the internet" mentality killed respect for craft

@Thebestfigen It's not digital and it was common to reuse hand drawn animation back then due to costs.

@Thebestfigen back when reusing ideas actually gave good results, instead of these shitty reboots

@Thebestfigen Go watch animated films like “Fire and Ice” and notice how “realistic” the animation looks… because they filmed real actors and then drew to match the motion… does that take away from the art?

@Thebestfigen There was nothing digital about either one of those animations other than it exists now in a digital form

@Thebestfigen This was not digital. And it was just more productive to reuse character animations as they did.

@Thebestfigen ..a diferencia de la tecnología actual, esa tecnica les ahorraba días de trabajo. Además, nadie se quejaba.
