Is further World Cup expansion a bad idea? 🤔 From DP's source: "Get ready for expansion to the World Cup."

Who is Kate Vaird? 😂

They cheated the guys out of an extra week of rest for this format AND we are seeing Argentina wilt before our eyes as a result and they would have to play on 3 days rest twice to touch gold...its a hideous idea for the players (and 32 was better than 48 to begin with)

ugh. everybody is already in the world cup. this is what the qualifiers are. the qualifiers are played during club season breaks because there isn't enough time to do it all in one tournament during the summer.

Was the source Tom Brady?

“My source” strikes again.

Terrible idea. Waters down the whole WCQ process and quality. Cape Verde and DR Congo were exceptions... we won't get that again. Let's just keep it at 40.

They just expanded. 😵‍💫

someone just see's more money opportunities

I’m not a soccer (fooootball) fan. The only reason I give a rat’s ass about the World Cup is because it’s being held in the USA. And it’s constant coverage from American media. In four years, how many average Americans will care? Let’s be real.

you guys should drop your affiliation with Will Farrell. he is a whore for taking the Netflix money and delivering the schlock that they did. have some fucking standards, Will!

Why even qualify, let's just play a 4 year World Cup

It’s not a bad idea. In fact, it’s a great idea. More meaningful soccer is always a good thing, regardless of how FIFA have made this version about $$ with their “hydration breaks”.

Greed, money & corruption will continue to ruin the beautiful game of football. The expansion to 48 teams is showing us proof of that already.
