This will help you. The statement was from the twelfth Attah of Igala.

Abeg make Yoruba no start to Dey do like ibo oo,we no need anyone to join Yorubas,we don too many already abeg😊😁😂

Yoruba began in Ife Oodaye Many people believe it was mythical But it was simply 100s of 1000s of years ago When heaven and earth were less separate The original Ife was not in “Yorubaland” It was on the river niger, which we named Ọya They say the original Ife was wiped out by a flood Before we moved to the present southwestern Ile Ife Anthropologist Professor Akinwumi Ogundiran’s book The Yoruba, a new history reveals scientific findings dug up around present day “middle belt” That’s where Yoruba spread out from, toward the present coastal location That’s the link between us and our Igala cousins And to the ancient advanced protocivilization called Nok, which also disappeared mysteriously, but whose surviving artifacts continue to surprise archeologists today

Guys that’s my friend and I’m the Igala girl in the video I don’t have issues with reposting my videos but please reach out and tag me 🙏 thank you

I did🙏

Thank you

Yoruba do not like to or want to associate with any tribe who do not like to identify with them no matter how close the similarities are.

98% languages similarities, but we are not related

Igala is Igbo

“Water”, “Oil”, “Broom” & “Clock” in Igala dialect are the same in the Yoruba language.

See something:

Igala is a Yoruboid language class but Igala people are not Yoruba.

No o, abeg we don’t need any deadweights. We will have a homogeneous country full of only Yorubas. Left to me self we should leave Kwara state behind since it’s Islam first before being Yoruba for them. We don’t need another Afonja in the future to ruin Oduduwa republic

Of course. I can pick on their conversation easily.

Right👍

@aunty_pda

This is why history is good , y’all don’t know that the igala tribe was founded by the combination of YORUBA and JUKUN settler

Igala is a Yoruboid language. They branch off at the Edekiri stage, where Yoruba and Istekiri branch off.

Ebi yenn dé lomá paé😂😂😂

The igala lady language sounds like Ìlájé, pure Ìlájé dialect

Sharing lexical, structure and tone similarities with Yoruba and Itsekiri, yes Igala language is classified Yoruboid.

Languages nigh sound similar but it’s not a yoruboid lingo. Thank you

I saw igala bible with the security man in my company one day and I mistook it for Yoruba , d lingo so related ehn

Is Igala not the same extreme of Akoko in Ondo State, they share the same market with, Shosan, Ifira, Oka, Ipesin, even with Ikabba. Some also shared boundary with Akoko Edo, like Ibilo, Uromi, Ojirami & so on. They all speak the same language wit little difference

This igala girl fine sha

Its a yoruboid language, ends

Their language shares lots of similarities with Yoruba, but nothing about their culture and traditions screams Yoruba

Yes it is, that is why most igalas can at least understand Yoruba a little

For real?!

Lol.. Okun wey be Yoruba for Kogi no go famz all this things wey una dey post.. say igala na Yoruba..

Reasons you dare not speak Yoruba around an igala person cuz they’ll understand

Before dem come say Igala is Igboland

@Alpha_Yom Omi and epo have the same pronunciation in both yoruba and Igala Language

Interesting!

So, Igalas are Yorubas.
