Is it possible that AJ Brown is washed and that's why his numbers are down? 🏈 His average yards of separation per target is down by nearly a half yard this season, compared to last year. 🏈 His 1.7 yards of separation is a career worst. 🏈 We've seen... him win on go balls with ease before, but this year, he's struggling to separate and get open. Brock Purdy is now the only remaining player from the 49ers' 2022 draft class. SF released Nick Zakelj to make room for center Doug Kramer Jr. before practice. Some highlights... 🏈Purdy's explosive camp continues. Deep 70-yard TDs to both De'Zhaun Stribling and Demarcus Robinson 🏈George Kittle looks to be truly ramping it up. Was moving and cutting well in what looked to be some aggressive rehab work 🏈Mike Evans and Christian Kirk both look like they might be close to returning. Shanahan essentially said Evans' absence is precautionary 🏈Brett Toth (concussion) was on an exercise bike. Might he be a dark horse to grab the LG spot? Anthony Edwards said he's focused these last couple weeks working on his body, getting his body fat down and getting in shape. A lot of sense being made here by Stephen A Smith with his reasoning as to why he thinks the Texans can win the AFC. “I’m just looking at what happened with Josh Allen last night and I’m saying to myself, ‘who can’t Houston do that to.’” I’ve been saying this since before last year. It’s just an average to slightly below average offense needed to compliment it and DeMeco Ryans has repeatedly said that the way you beat the Mahomes & Lamar Jackson’s of the league is to get pressure rushing just 4. They’ve been doing just that for the last two plus years and is a big reason why I never wrote them off this season.
