Mainstream archaeology often treats prehistory as a closed case…no advanced science, no lost civilizations, no serious anomalies. Questions that challenge this linear model are dismissed outright. But science isn’t supposed to work that way. With growing evidence of ancient catastrophes…and future near-misses already on the calendar…the possibility that earlier cultures understood more than we assume remains an open, necessary line of inquiry.

What’s more, he begins so arrogantly and once he rolls out the tone-deaf stupidity of his answer, he falters and realizes he lost the room. All she had to say was “stop using that excuse.” A thing of beauty. Then he ends by saying “never become a product of an ideology that sounds sensible”. What???
