Do European McDonalds not have these lean cushions?

I guess Americans leaning is a typical habit the way the French will always have a cigarette in hand while looking like they are contemplating the utter futility of the universe…it’s a tell.

We’re just chill like that

I thought everyone leaned when you have a surface to lean on? American here, genuine question, do y’all not take a break? Walk a bit far or long drive or on feet all day and the lean could just help you relax or bring your mind to ease , it’s like a relax break

Americans aren't even allowed to sit down unless it is specifically a desk job. So I think leaning is something we tend to do bc it becomes a habit from doing it constantly at work. Seeing an aldis for the first time made me so jealous.

We do it because it looks fucking cool and has been in our popular culture for a long time.

Hi! American who lived abroad for many years. Yes. This is something Americans do, but it’s a small tell. More often than not it’s easier to tell Americans from the shoes they wear. From the clothing they wear, and simply the loudness of their speaking voice.

If you have time to lean, you have time to clean!
