I love how the original was 16 telling Gohan that it's not a sin to fight, which is true, and they went with the brutally honest approach here which also worked. Abridged Gohan was a douche throughout the Cell saga and he 100% needed to hear that.

Since everyone else was coddling Gohan it was nice hearing someone tell him about himself for once

People who watched the US dubbed DBZ basically watched a whole other anime. It's shocking how much they changed the original dialogue compared to the Latino dubs

I feel like TFS's version is like unecessary mean to Gohan, i watched the commentary, I get Kaiser's point but I still feel like this speech could be better like if I was Gohan I think I would be more confused at this stupid head talking shit to me than anything else

Seeing your watch of DBZA on my tl has been a delight I’m ngl

I do like this take of someone telling Gohan he needs to fight sometimes but instead of coddling him just delivering the harsh reality of situation where he need to suck it up and do what needs to be done

Honestly one of my least favorite scenes in all of DBZA
