My hubby has had a beard all our married life ..36 years. He partially shaved his face for charity once. Removed left side beard but kept moustache and reversed that on right side! Lived like it for six weeks..bizarre but raised some £s!

In America it is believed that it is harder to get elected to a political office if you have facial hair, because no one trust a politician with facial hair I think the last American president in this country a facial hair was in the 19th century

It's seen as a bit 70's-p*rn now isn't it? Used to be very smart back in the 40s and 50s - my father looked so handsome in his tache and his military uniform - but context is everything I think.
