Is there a noticeable difference?

I get the feeling the suspension is much better despite not looking much different. Need an accelerometer or something to measure how much the cabin shakes.

does this remind you of something?

It's even better when experienced in the car, comfort has improved very significantly in the new Model Y.

Very true

I don’t see a huge difference

My impression is that the suspension of the new Model Y Juniper has improved significantly. The old Model Y was very stiff and firm. With the Juniper, it’s perfect — just like the suspension and damping of the Model 3 Highland.

Look ≠ feel. I had a '23 Y and drove a '26 Y, which I found to be noticeably smoother, quieter, and more premium-feeling, but it didn't make my '23 feel obsolete, per se, but after buying and driving a '26 for a week then getting back in the '23, the difference was significant.

I changed the shocks on my legacy Model Y to Koni FSD. Huge improvement and I think Tesla is using these Koni FSD shock absorbers on Highland and Juniper making 80+% of the improvement. Easy to upgrade your legacy Model Y.

It's hard to see, but you will feel it for sure! The new MY is insanely better than the legacy. We are driving the new one since 3 months and came from a legacy one. It's overall more than just one generation better (quality, ride comfort, sound proofing, materials...). The best car for the bugs! by far!

Yes!!! Both cars don’t have plates numbers, than it appears. Magic!
