Is this a safe thing to do? Or reckless parenting?

My wife delivered 7 puppies for my dog, all 8 grew in our bed. We sold off 6 and left my wife’s favorite with the mum. These 2 dogs literally got introduced to our daughter in her stomach. Till she came out, they were her guardian. Till date she loves them die. Its irresponsible if you did not groom this dogs rightly wit the kids.

This is way too much trust in an animal that could go crazy y at any time.

If those dogs love her, they'd die before they let harm get to her. It will be irresponsible if they haven't been trained to love her and protect her and they don't know her.

As long as it is a female dog, it is safe. They are very protective of baby or little child they already had a bond or connection with and can be very aggressive to any stranger that is not a familiar face coming close. It is adult male dogs that you can't trust with a child.

It depends. If that dog was there before she was born, and the dog saw her through as a baby, she's very safe with the dogs, else, it's reckless parenting. Dogs are super amazing when you get them trained well

There's nothing there, these dogs have been introduced to that kid way before she started walking. It all boils down to breed and training. My neighbor has two big dogs and his little child spends time with them

Dogs take on the personality of their owner always. I grew up around large dogs, both police dogs and Pitbulls. Played with em, slept with em, feed then treats soon as I could walk. If you raise your dogs right, your infants couldn't be safer in the arms of God

I think the parent is only trying to make the dog and the girl get so close to each other. But me sef I dey fear make the dog no harm the pikin one day. Normally, nothing fit harm the girl in the midst of these dogs.
