F Scott Fitzgerald wrote from his room at Grove Park Inn in Asheville, NC. It was there looking out at the pathway that he came up with the imagery for Gatsby and the party. His room and writing desk still remain in their original setup today. I’ve had the pleasure of staying in the room.
