That's good. Secularism saved Turkey once, and only secularism will help it get back on its feet, or else it will turn into another Middle Eastern country with no rights and constant instability.

Only 20% of Turks actually live by Islam. 60% believe in Allah but don't follow Islamic teachings or care about religious obligations. The other 20% are atheists and deists who don't believe in Allah and don't give a shit about religion.

I can speak to this, as one of my friends from Turkey happens to be Christian. Man eats pork, drinks alcohol, and explained to me that Turkey has far more Christians and Jews than meets the eye, and that Islam was forced on Turkey.
