Joseph Rivera, a father of two kids in the Hudson School District, said Monday he warned the school board about the February protest in advance. I was invited to the United Nations to talk about Iran, especially about athletes and the current situation in Iran. I spoke to more than 4,000 students from around the world. I told them about Iran and about all the limitations that women and girls face there. I talked about the courage of students in Iran and about a regime that kills students. I told them that in my country the new generation is changing everything, but they are paying for it with their lives. While I was speaking, my mind was constantly thinking about Nika, Sarina, Raha, Abolfazl, Kian and the many students who were killed. I was just trying to control myself so I wouldn’t start crying. I also told them how meaningful it is that students from different countries, at such a young age, have the opportunity to come to New York and sit together at the United Nations, meet each other, learn together, and also enjoy many cultural and recreational programs. I told them the stories of Arnika and Rebin & … After the event, the organizers told me it was the first time they had seen students listening so carefully and with so much attention. Some of the students were even crying. I told them that one day, when Iran is free, we will organize an event like this in Iran with students from all over the world, and we will host them there. Some of them told me, “When that day comes, we will bring flowers for the students who were killed and we will honor their memory.”💔 I had the honor of meeting Vladyslav Heraskevych OLY, the Ukrainian Olympic champion, who chose not to remain silent and used his platform as an athlete to be a voice for the people of his country. The students’ unions of all three law faculties, CLC, LC1 and LC2, urged the deans to extend the exam dates but the deans stuck to the pre-scheduled dates. Yesterday on December 16, a protest was started by the students which continued throughout the day and it was peaceful, but the Dean deployed Delhi Police and CRPF to remove the students from the faculty, due to which there was chaos between the law students and the police and the matter became serious. The DU administration issued a notification stating that "The Date Sheet relating to LL.B. I/III/V Term December/January, 2024 Examination scheduled from 26th December, 2024 is put-on hold." However, the students remained adamant on their demand to postpone the examination schedule. Till yesterday, those who were openly abusing and using bad language did not think that they were students, that they had a career, or that their actions could have consequences. But now, as action has started being taken against them, they are trying to present themselves as victims, saying that they are students and are facing so many problems because of all this. These things should have been thought about earlier. When they were using such language, they didn't think about their future or career. Now that action is being taken, everything suddenly comes to mind. How will this work? If you take responsibility for your actions, you should also be ready to face the consequences.

They called Black students the NWord, wrote racial slurs on bathroom walls, urinated on pictures of Black students, and held an online mock slave auction where bids were placed on their fellow Black students starting at $2. According to shannon sharpe during his interview with Amanda Seales on Club Shay Shay, white children who do and say these types of racist things aren’t actually racist, they’re just repeating what their racist parents say, but don’t actually know that they’re wrong. NEW: Somali students, black students & two adults get into fight at St Louis Park High School in Minnesota. America's school system needs massive change 22 year old Abreeha Annalisa Smith & 41 year old Latoys Renail Milon were arrested for their involvement but shockingly were released without being charged. The fight began between black and Somali students and escalated to the point where parents reportedly joined in with their kids. Milon's daughter was allegedly kicked while on the floor and claims the fight had nothing to do with race however CrimeWatchMpls says a source claims it was racially motivated. "I got punched and I got punched again from the other side. Then one student grabbed me by the neck and she tossed me and we were on the floor," Sanaiah Milon said. "And it was just kicks, punches. In my head, it felt like it was going on forever. Like, I was just scared." Police say they believe Smith and Latoys were "primarily responsible" for the fight.

#WATCH | Delhi: Sanjay Kumar, Secretary, Department of School Education and Literacy, says, "This time when the 12th class exams were conducted, the answer sheets were scanned, and their PDF copies were made. The total number of answer sheets of 98 lakh students who took the examination was scanned, and three levels of security were also maintained in scanning... One advantage of this has been that the mistakes that sometimes used to happen in totalling have been completely eliminated. This decision was taken, and teachers were trained in this... Ultimately, it was also found that in the end, we had about 13,000 such answer sheets, which we found that no matter how many times we scanned them, there was some illegibility in them because the ink used was of very light colour, so after scanning, we were not able to make that legible. The teachers were told that the 13,000 answer sheets were taken out and checked manually, and after checking manually, the marks obtained on those were introduced by us. I would like to say that special attention has been given to the security level and the issues, so that the marking done through on-screen marking is accurate..."
