Cross: And I just find it laughable that the party of the self-proclaimed pro-life people are celebrating cutting off funding to children, the white evangelical crowd who purports to uphold these Christian values are celebrating targeting communities because of their ethnicity and cutting off care to children. It's utterly ridiculous

Funding DHS is essential to defending the homeland. Without it, we leave ourselves more vulnerable to cyber and physical attacks from our adversaries. Democrats refusing to fund DHS is just irresponsible.

🚨 MUST WATCH VIDEO: Democrat politicians are PANICKING as we see a rise in terror attacks on our Homeland while Democrats continue to withhold critical funding from DHS. Sen. Elissa Slotkin of Michigan—where an Muslim terrorist just tried to kill pre-schoolers with a car bomb—now says DHS should be funded, just one day after she voting against funding DHS. Democrats are playing games with our National Security in order to attack our president. It's almost as though they are withholding funding from DHS so that our Homeland is attacked and they can blame President Trump...

When it comes to funding DHS, Democrats are moving the goalposts every day. They are playing politics and using the American people as pawns. This needs to stop. We need to fund DHS.

Senate Democrats said Tuesday that they will continue to push for reforms to ICE as part of any deal to reopen DHS, complicating GOP efforts to find an off-ramp to the funding impasse. Rep. Nick LaLota (R-NY) pushes back on splitting off ICE out of DHS funding, telling “The Takeout” that “funding the whole darn thing is the right way to move forward.”

Republicans continue to do their part to end the Schumer Shutdown. The House passed a clean CR funding bill. Republican Senators have voted to pass it 13 times. Meanwhile, Democrats are using this shutdown for “leverage”. Democrats, it is time to end the Schumer Shutdown by passing a clean CR funding bill NOW!

Disgusting. Democrat Rep. Chuy Garcia says DHS — which was created in response to the horrific 9/11 terrorist attacks that killed thousands of Americans — was created to "undermine civil rights" and calls for it to be dismantled. Democrats have no shame.

Today, the House voted to give DHS more funding. But we will not give up, we must continue to demand more. I introduced the Melt ICE Act to end funding for immigrant detention and monitoring, cripple immigration enforcement, and return funds to our communities. Let’s continue organizing!

🚨 JUST IN: Stephen Miller ERUPTS on Democrat Senators plotting to block DHS funding this week because of the Border Patrol shooting "An assassin tried to murder federal agents and THIS is your response," Miller said to Sen. Chris Murphy These people are evil and can NOT be reasoned with. Therefore, NUKE THE FILIBUSTER and ram through DHS funding.

Americans are feeling the pain from the RECKLESS Democrat shutdown of DHS. In airports across the country, TSA officers are again being forced by the Democrats to work without pay—for the THIRD time in nearly six months.

Today, the House will vote on a DHS funding bill. I will not vote to give ICE a single cent to continue their brutal and reckless campaign terrorizing communities across the country. I will be voting NO.

I’m asking my Democrat colleagues to have a conversation with my fellow Republicans about funding DHS. Turn off the cameras and come to the table. For the good of the American people.

Here’s where things really stand on TSA funding: - The Senate UNANIMOUSLY voted to fund DHS, EXCEPT for ICE & CBP. - House Republicans then decided to instead vote on funding ALL of DHS for 60 days. - The Senate would now have to vote on this funding, but it will likely fail. - Trump says he’ll pay TSA agents. But why did he wait 44 days to do this? Because Republicans just want to funnel more $$ to agencies that kill American citizens. - Democrats are not backing down.

I used my midterm convention speech to underscore the magnitude of the threat we are seeing from the red-green alliance. More with Ben Ferguson on the latest episode of Verdict where we do a deep dive into the takeover of the Democrat Party by communists and Islamists.
