The Senate just sent the House a disastrous DHS funding bill that leaves ICE/CBP without funding, including the part of ICE that targets child sex trafficking. They also failed to move the SAVE America Act. Here’s how House Freedom Caucus is working to fix it. ⬇️

🚨 BREAKING: The Senate GOP is HOLDING THE LINE on DHS funding, DARING the Senate Democrats and Chuck Schumer to cause a government shutdown this week Rather than allow Dems to weaponize the Minneapolis shooting to alter DHS and ICE funding, the GOP MUST force a vote! NUKE THE FILIBUSTER if they play games. It's time to get tough, Sen. Thune!

GOP Senator admits that Republicans are blocking TSA funding: "The Democrats offered to open up everything but ICE. Ted and I said okay, let's accept their offer... That way DHS is back open. Senator Thune submitted that to Trump, he said, 'No. No deals with the Democrats.' So, we're back to square one"

GOP Pennsylvania Rep. Rep. Scott Perry says Democrats WILL SHUT DOWN THE GOVERNMENT AGAIN unless the GOP surrenders ICE funding. ‘The Senators, as far as I know, last week said there’s absolutely no way [the Democrats] are voting for funding for the Department of Homeland Security… They hate the president and are going to take every opportunity to hobble him.” Watch The Matt Gaetz Show Here:

Here’s where things really stand on TSA funding: - The Senate UNANIMOUSLY voted to fund DHS, EXCEPT for ICE & CBP. - House Republicans then decided to instead vote on funding ALL of DHS for 60 days. - The Senate would now have to vote on this funding, but it will likely fail. - Trump says he’ll pay TSA agents. But why did he wait 44 days to do this? Because Republicans just want to funnel more $$ to agencies that kill American citizens. - Democrats are not backing down.

GOP Rep. Garbarino: "If their goal is to stop the funding of ICE, shutting down the rest of DHS is not going to accomplish that. They already have the money and they already have their orders. So the argument that not doing a Homeland bill and having a shutdown is going to somehow stop the ICE officers -- they know that's not the case."
