The 8 seconds doesn’t start until the attacker moves out of the way

Not until your player has moved out of the way.🤡

Attacker is delaying by standing in front so the count wont start until he moves

Learn the rules before posting shite!

Timer doesn't start until the attacker is out the way

Should be indirect free kick to keeper as attacker is preventing release

Got to get your player out of the way if you want the counter to start lads

It's not because the player is blocking the goalkeeper from kicking the ball.

You didn’t get the reaction you wanted for this did you? Basic knowledge that your player has to be out of the way of a keeper trying to play the ball, across all leagues

This hasn’t gone well for you, has it?

No. It’s not. The count doesn’t start until the attacking player gets out of the way

The count starts when the attacker is away from the goalkeeper and the goalkeeper has the possibility of playing the ball. When an attacker is intentionally stopping the goalie from playing he may receive a yellow card. So here it should be yellow for the attacker

No, because the keeper has to be afforded space to kick the ball, if the striker stands in his path, the ref will allow him the opportunity to kick it past the allocated time. Seen this happen in the EFL last week.

The amount of times you lot whinge about referees when you’re in the wrong is off the scale. Learn the laws of the game.

6 seconds from your player moving out the way, you've had a mare with this one lads 🤣

No. Learn the rules.

IFAB app is free by the way lads 👍

It’s a foul by the striker before anything else

Comments arguing attacker preventing it look at the placement of the striker and the keeper on the grass… if you can’t kick a ball in that gap you need to play tennis or some shit

Attacking player trying to be clever. Ended up wasting 30 seconds of the game.

No.

Under new law yes

Nope, being blocked. Count starts when the player gets out the way.

The clock does not start until opposition players move away.

Not whilst he is engaging with the GK no.

Imagine posting this and not having a clue in respect of the actual rules. 🤦🏻♂️

Really quite simple. The clock starts when the goalkeeper is unchallenged. If the attacker actually retreats then the clock can start.

Learn the rules you muppets

No

It should be an indirect free kick to the goalkeeper

Your player is at fault for not getting out the way. So stop crying. Plastic club

No

Whilst the rules would state that the referee is correct, this is in fact being counted at levels lower than step 3. Maybe the referees lower should learn the rules and also be more consistent across the board. One game it’s a corner the next the count doesn’t start.
