Israel has announced that they eliminated two principal Iranian decision-makers, Ali Larijani and Basij commander Gholamreza Soleimani. Larjani, who was secretary to Iran’s Supreme Security Council, and Gholamreza, who presided over the recent deadly crackdowns on Iranian protesters, played key roles in the current Iranian ruling framework.

This is really big news because there is no clear indication now on who is running Iran. With the bulk of the leadership now gone, the only person left from the pre war regime is the foreign minister, and Israel may be letting him live to have someone around to actually negotiate with for Iran’s surrender. The next two days will be critical on what will happen inside of Iran.

Murdering Larijani would fire up the whole level of the war and could take it to further dimensions.

Ali Larijani and Basij commander Soleimani were not minor figures. They were part of Iran’s core decision-making network. After strikes like this, leadership stability becomes uncertain. That’s why the Polymarket event “Iran leadership change by…” keeps moving up.

Ok they killed him after he challenged them and walked in a demonstration in day light! They just gave him an eternal glory! And certainly a more hardliner with replace him. I assure you. His death will inspire millions. Israel is a rogue state dangerous for world peace.

The assassination of Ali Larijani, a top Iranian leader, through brazen US-Israeli strikes is a vile act of state-sponsored murder, reeking of imperial arrogance and utter contempt for international law. This cowardly targeted killing—disguised as "precision"—escalates senseless violence, fuels endless cycles of retaliation, and exposes the hypocritical "rules-based order" as nothing but a facade for unchecked aggression. It's a disgusting power play that tramples sovereignty, endangers civilians, and drags the world closer to catastrophe, all while the perpetrators pat themselves on the back for "justice." Shameful, barbaric, and utterly indefensible.

The decapitation of the "strategic brain" and the "muscle" simultaneously is a massive blow to the chain of command. This isn't just a tactical win; it's a structural reset of the region's power dynamics. Tehran’s defensive playbook just lost its most experienced chapters.

Iran's state media hasn't confirmed Larijani's death, just a handwritten note mourning sailors, which proves nothing either way. Even if he's gone, the IRGC has shown it can replace leaders quickly. The question isn't whether they're hurting. It's whether the pain translates to collapse. So far, the system is still standing, even if the faces keep changing.

When you kill the "old school" regime you just don't know what will replace them. Will the younger generation be soft or even more radicalized?

There are no ten thousand solutions; we must eliminate this human scum to quickly end this war and hand over a clean country to the good Persians, who are far more numerous than these ambitious and evil beings. #IranWar

Huge escalation: IDF confirms killing Ali Larijani (de facto wartime coordinator post-Khamenei) and Basij chief Gholamreza Soleimani in Tehran strikes. This guts Iran's SNSC decision-making and internal militia control amid week 3 chaos...Iran silent so far. Could force desperate retaliation or fracture command even more. Thoughts?

This is a decapitation strike on the regime’s remaining brain trust. Larijani was the bridge between the old guard and the current wartime council, while Soleimani was the fist keeping internal dissent at bay. Without them, the coordination between Tehran’s regional strategy and its internal security is essentially severed. 📉⚔️
