I don’t get nervous often, but when I was blessed with the chance to meet Nelson Mandela in 1996 - I was shaking! While touring with my team of former NBA players, President Mandela invited us down to play games and run free basketball clinics with giveaways in the villages of South Africa. I was, and still am, in awe of all of the peaceful work and leadership that President Mandela displayed in the face of adversity. He is a hero to me, and his legacy still carries strong throughout the world!

🚨Nelson Mandela was one of the first proponents of the so-called armed struggle and, in his own words, attacking "soft targets.‼️ When he was MK commander, a plethora of violence insued when MK "fighters" bombed churches, shopping centres, and busy streets, particularly during Christmas time. Mandela pled guilty to 150 acts of terrorism, after he was arrested, and over 50 000 mines and a stockpile of antipersonel ammunition, provided by the USSR, was found in his possession, during the Liliesleaf raid, documents were found implicating Mandela personally in attacks that killed many children. The so-called "people's war" never targeted old SADF bases or the army, but only sabotaged infrastructure and murdered civilians. Comparing the ANC in the early 60's, and by extent, Nelson Mandela, to Hamas today, is highly accurate. Nelson Mandela is probably the most white-washed figure in modern history but a radical black murderer of so many innocent white children and woman.
