It appears more certain by the day that Anthony Albanese is a pathological liar given how easily he does it everyday. In his latest press conference, Albanese had the absolute nerve to claim that his government has “cut back on spending”as interest rates rise, trying to gaslight Australians who...

A lifelong pro pollie, he thinks he’s clever and good at it. Doesn’t realise the jig is up and the public is sick and tired of his ilk and the entire political class and their mates.

There are 5 ways to lie: Denials - “I didn’t fall” Fabrications - “$275” Minimizations - “Culture war” Exaggerations - “right wing” Omissions - “removing surcharges will make your coffee cheaper”

Yes. The compulsive lying is a give-away. One very sick and morally empty individual. These are traits which are useful in the deranged sewer that is internal Labor factional politics. It's where Albanese thrived. Outside of that sick hell we all just see a warped psycho.

They cut the amount spent on one item, spend that cut amount + more somewhere else & call that cutting spending. Reprioritising is not cutting back on spending.

Albanese is lying again, The $ 6billion reduction in relation to the deficit was as against a Treasury ESTIMATE of the deficit for 25/26 of $ 28 billion. The actual deficit was $ 22 billion. The truth is the deficit increased by $ 12billion from the deficit in 24/25 of $10 billion

“New net zero spending measures Table 3.9 sets out $12.3 billion in new net zero spending commitments over the forward estimates period and $18.2 billion over the medium term, across the 2025-26 MYEFO and this Budget. This follows net zero spending commitments of $6.9 billion (over the medium term) reported in the 2025-26 Budget, $24.3 billion (over the medium term) in the 2024-25 Budget, climate-related spending of $4.6 billion (to 2030) committed in the 2023-24 Budget and $24.9 billion (to 2030) committed in the October 2022-23 Budget.” •••••••••••••••••• Don’t be fooled by last nights budget reply where Angus Taylor said he would index the lower tax brackets. It’s too little too late. The lower tax bracket needs to be removed full stop. It’s absurd that people are taxed below the cost of living. is the only party that has committed to do this and identified the savings to fund it. Indexing the lower bracket of $18,200 by 4% will lift it by a measly $728. Applying next years tax rate of 14 cents, that will save you $102. This is no where near enough to adjust for 4% inflation on the poverty line of $45,000 which is $1,800. If he was serious about cutting taxes, Taylor should have cut spending much harder. There’s at least $10 billion every year wasted on net zero and $10 billion on bureaucrats gold plated pension scheme to name just a few. These are just two of the many programs People First will slash to cut income tax by $4,000 per annum. We will also crack down of offshore profit shifting to cut taxes even further.

Exclusive: Andy Burnham is facing a significant deterioration in the public finances that will leave him needing to find about £10 billion in either tax rises or spending cuts in his first budget. The State of It, the political podcast from The Times and The Sunday Times has been told that the Office for Budget Responsibility, the fiscal watchdog, has entered its critical ten-day forecast period when it assesses the state of the economy The findings are used to calculate the cost of debt interest that underpins the budget A senior government source said that the timing is “hugely challenging” for John Healey, the chancellor, because of the impact of the war in Iran. Economists believe that it makes tax rises or spending cuts inevitable While Healey wants what he has described to colleagues as a “focused budget”, economists said the government’s £23 billion worth of fiscal headroom - a cushion against future spending - has fallen to as little as £5 billion once the cost of Burnham’s pledges on the cost of living have been factored in Healey has signalled to markets that he intends to ensure there is a “buffer” in the budget to protect against uncertainty bu has not said how much. One government source said there have been discussions about a buffer of £15bn The pressures are everywhere. The average energy bill is forecast to rise by as much as 26 per cent in January, equivalent to £442 a year. The government is considering options for further support for the poorest households, a move that will add to pressure on the public finances

Whoops! Prime Minister Albanese has accidentally exposed Labor’s real censorship agenda. He has now confirmed that the new social media “Digital Duty of Care” scheme is nothing more than a back-door attempt to resurrect Labor’s rejected Misinformation and Disinformation Bill, while boasting about it overseas to his elite globalist friends. That’s despite his own Minister for Travel Expenses and Grand Final Rorts, Anika Wells, who also doubles as Labor’s Minister for Censorship, assuring Australians just two weeks ago that it “isn’t about misinformation”. Australians are supposed to believe one story at home while Labor tells a completely different story overseas. In his own words, Albanese admits these powers are being sold under the banner of “child safety” today, while laying the groundwork for much broader controls on speech and public debate tomorrow. If there was ever any doubt that this legislation is a Trojan horse, the Prime Minister has just all but removed it. Most revealing of all, Albanese has explicitly linked the need for new censorship powers to the rise of One Nation, declaring that “People are moving away from the centre and more and more to the extremes”. In other words, Australians are abandoning Labor in growing numbers, rejecting the political establishment, and Labor's response is not to listen to them, but to seek new powers to police online debate and suppress criticism. This is what governments do when they are losing the argument. They stop defending their record and start looking for ways to control the conversation. The truth is Labor cannot tolerate Australians questioning its failures on the cost of living, housing, energy prices, migration and government waste. Instead of fixing the problems it created, it wants new powers to manage what Australians can see, hear and say online. There appears to be no limit to how far this desperate Labor Government will go to protect its grip on power. Albanese should scrap this censorship scheme immediately, stop grandstanding overseas, and get back home to deal with the crises Australians are living through every day.
