IT HAPPENS AGAIN! While driving through the area, I noticed a fight had broken out between kids in front of a Metro bus at the Gallery Place-Chinatown metro in Washington DC— this time right in the middle of H Street. (this is the fourth day in a row now)...

For the third day in a row since school has started in Washington DC, several fights have broken out (some directly in front of police and National Guard in the area) near the Gallery Place-Chinatown metro station. DC Police, Metro Transit Police, federal agents from various agencies, and the National Guard have been keeping a heavy presence in the area once school gets out, but it does not seem to be preventing the group of kids from gathering and starting fights. Currently, officers are working on dispersing the crowds, as well as cleaning up Lime scooters and e-bikes that have been left behind in the middle of the road and sidewalk. No word on any arrests as of now…

TAKOMA METRO ROBBERY: DC Police and Metro Transit Police are on scene of a confirmed robbery at the Takoma metro station on Cedar Street NW in Takoma DC. The victim was beat up and robbed & had to be tended to by medics on scene. A teen is in handcuffs after a group started to fight directly in front of police officers. DC Police initially put out a lookout for five suspects between just 13 and 16 years old. This is during the rush hour commute on Halloween evening… #wmata

Boom!!! Another clash of ladies #fight again. This look like a protest ground or a street parade or celebration, I can see Puerto Rican flags, and crowds in the street. But it broke out into a fight in the middle of the road. Two ladies are dragging themselves on the ground and others are pulling them apart. Some folks in police vests showed up to break it up. Total #chaos or just vibes?

TEEN SHOT AND KILLED IN NAVY YARD DC: a teenage male has been shot and killed on the corner of Third Place and K Street SE in Washington DC’s Navy Yard neighborhood. At around 6:45pm, DC Police and Fire & EMS were called out to the area for a shooting. A teenage male, believed to be 18 years old, was pronounced dead on the scene. A suspect was apprehended off of New Hampshire Ave at Eastern Ave in Washington DC. At least one car was struck in Maryland during the pursuit. The driver was reportedly wanted for running someone over at a metro station and fleeing the scene. A Tik Tok trend called the “Door Kick Challenge,” in which kids kick in homeowners’ doors & film it, has begun to surface in the DC area. Doorbell cam video shows the stunt being done in a usually quiet neighborhood in Silver Spring, MD early yesterday evening. Montgomery County Police are investigating this case, as well as other similar style break-ins and vandalisms across the DMV area. Some of the kids seen appear to be as young as middle schoolers.
