Highlighted how this fare hike has led to a 100% increase in the short-distance commute across several metro stations in Bengaluru, making Bengaluru Metro the most expensive metro network & defeating the purpose of creating a sustainable public transport solution for the city. Urged the concerned authorities to review the anomalies in the fare structure and rationalize the ticket prices to make it more affordable for the common man. Beating Traffic to Save a Heartbeat: Bengaluru Metro Transports Organ in Record Time After making history with its first-ever organ transport in August, Bengaluru’s Namma Metro has once again proved its worth in saving lives. On the night of September 11, a live human heart was swiftly moved from Yeshwanthpur to South End Circle in just 20 minutes for a transplant at Apollo Hospital. The journey was a model of coordination and speed. An ambulance first brought the organ from Sparsh Hospital in Yeshwanthpur to the Yeshwanthpur Industry Metro Station. A specially reserved coach on a regular metro train then carried the heart to its destination station, while metro security and doctors stood by to ensure a smooth transfer. Dear Bihar, Do you want to ride in a refurbished Delhi metro coach rebranded as Patna metro? Yes, that is what has been planned for you. Under pressure to show development before Bihar elections, incomplete Patna metro is being pushed for inauguration with just 5 stations but Patna metro is yet to issue a tender for rolling stock unlike say, Bhubaneswar metro. Instead, Delhi metro will provide two 3 coach train sets to Patna Metro. Here's why you should raise your voice and try to prevent that from happening, else you will become a laughing stock again. 1. Patna metro is incomplete. once officially inaugurated, the completion of the metro project will take a back seat just like the Bairiya ISBT which remains incomplete even after 5 years since it was inaugurated during the last elections. 2.
