It is often debated whether prospects should be held onto or traded for a player who could contribute now. For the Phillies, that has turned out pretty well after moving on from Starlyn Caba and Mick Abel. Should this be considered for other Phillies prospects such as Aidan Miller... show more

What kind of value does Miller and Painter have though? Miller may never play again and Painter is looking more and more like a bust every week. Wood and McFarlane are the only two with real trade value right now.

Might be too late for Painter and Miller. Top value was a few years ago.

With the Phillies trade record of developing prospects, best the sell on them when they are high. Could have had Garrett Crochet for Painter 3 years ago. Wouldn't get much for him now.

I’d trade every single player in the farm systems and refund the fans of those teams for the season is how little confidence I have in the Phillies developing anyone..including a bat boy

Trade them all - we learned Painter isn’t good, Miller is young and already has back issues not good. The Phillies are one of the worst organizations in baseball at finding and developing talent.

What are miller and painter worth right now?

I understand you need something to talk about but you can’t call a trade over a year later if there’s prospects

Trade Miller now... Bye

Fuck them prospects

As the late Joe Morgan once said "You win with major leaguers, not prospects"

I would advise to look for a trade for both players as long as the trade has a good benefit to the team now.
