Look how the Kolkata & West Bengal Police Welfare Committee is meddling with the Election Process. They have literally formed a Control Room at Kalighat and WhatsApp Groups at local levels to monitor the Voting Process of the Police Personnel who would be casting their votes on the Postal Ballots. How did the goons garner the ability to storm into a Durga Puja Pandal under the Jurisdiction of the Kolkata Police and threaten to vandalise the idol of Maa Durga if the rituals aren't stopped? The incident happened at the Puja Pandal of New Bengal Sporting Club at Garden Reach; Kolkata. The Organizers have already made a complaint to the Garden Reach Police Station. The Office Bearers and Members of the New Bengal Sporting Club have also provided video footage of the incident. How can you allow this to happen? I believe you will take the strictest action possible against the culprits and make them realize that it is Kolkata not Dhaka.

Today, despite having informed the police in advance that I intended to attend a gathering of supporters of the Islamic Republic, I was subjected to unacceptable and deeply concerning conduct by the Metropolitan Police Service. While I had engaged in no form of violence and was merely asking participants simple questions including “Are you Iranian?” and “Do you support the Islamic Republic?” I was first assaulted by a woman who threw a sandwich at my face. Shortly afterwards, I was suddenly subjected to physical force by a police officer. This use of force was so excessive and unprofessional that it aggravated an existing injury to my rib. Following this incident, instead of protecting me as the victim of an assault, the police threatened me that I must either leave London or face arrest. I was then again presented with the ultimatum of leaving the area or being arrested. This occurred despite the fact that the assault against me took place in full view of police officers, who failed to take any meaningful action to protect me. This conduct constitutes not only a clear violation of my right to freedom of expression and peaceful presence at a public gathering, but also demonstrates unequal and discriminatory treatment by the police. I will be pursuing this matter through the appropriate legal and oversight channels and will be filing a formal complaint against the Metropolitan Police Service for the violation of my rights. A24-year-old woman was stabbed to death inside the office of a private company in Mohali on Thursday evening, allegedly by a former partner and colleague who later turned the knife on himself in an apparent suicide attempt. Police have registered a murder case and are examining footage from the scene as part of their investigation. The victim, identified as Dimple, a resident of Patiala, suffered multiple stab wounds and was rushed to Fortis Hospital, where doctors declared her dead. The accused, Harvinder Mann alias Harry, remains in critical condition. According to preliminary investigations, both worked for a private packers and movers company in Mohali and had known each other for nearly three years. Police said the two were previously in a relationship that had ended some time ago. According to CCTV footage being examined by investigators, Harvinder entered the office around 7.40 pm on Thursday and allegedly launched the attack while Dimple was seated at her workstation. As the woman tried to flee, the accused is seen chasing her across the office premises. Investigators said he allegedly grabbed her by the hair near the entrance and continued the assault. Several employees attempted to intervene and pull him away, but failed to stop the attack. Police sources said the victim suffered more than 20 stab wounds. The assault continued even after she collapsed on the floor and stopped responding. After the attack, the accused allegedly walked back towards the section of the office where Dimple had been working and turned the weapon on himself. As per reports, he repeatedly stabbed himself in the neck and throat in an apparent suicide attempt. Investigators said he inflicted dozens of injuries on himself before collapsing. Terrified employees alerted police and emergency services, after which both the victim and the accused were taken to a nearby hospital, where Dimple was declared dead. The accused remains in critical condition. Police said the accused had reportedly been trying to reconcile with the victim after their breakup. Investigators are looking into whether an argument over their relationship immediately preceded the attack. Aman Baidwan, Station House Officer of Phase-11 Police Station, said police received information about the incident around 7.40 pm and immediately dispatched a team to the spot. A forensic team collected evidence from the office, and CCTV recordings have been seized for examination. Officials remained at the scene for several hours as part of the investigation. His action amounts to sexual harassment offense in law, and contravenes provisions of Leadership & Integrity Act. He is not fit to be in office & must be forced to resign. In a disturbing escalation of political violence in West Bengal, the TMC launched a violent attack at the BJP District Party Office in Cooch Behar. The Assembly Elections are probably 11 months away but TMC have unleashed their attack dogs on the principal opposition party; BJP. This shows that they are losing ground and that's why they are resorting to violence so early. The Party Office is located in the Cooch Behar town and the incident unfolded in the presence of Mamata Police. TMC Goons along with Jihadists who are under the patronage of Mamata Police executed the attack. Several of our Karyakartas got injured badly. Recently, BJP MLA from Cooch Behar South Assembly Constituency; Shri Nikhil Ranjan Dey was attacked by TMC Goons while he was going towards Dinhata Court. Today's incident has reignited concerns over the deteriorating law-and-order situation in the district and all over the state as well. The attack is a deliberate attempt to intimidate BJP workers and a blueprint of the TMC's desperation to cling on to power through violence and thuggery. To the Inspector General of Police TUNJI DISU and the entire leadership of the Nigerian Police Force Nigeria Police Force, This is a formal call for the immediate arrest and prosecution of the individual known as VeryDarkMan for his blatant assault on the integrity of the Force and the office of the newly appointed Deputy Inspector General of Police, Margaret Ochalla. In a widely circulated video, this individual has crossed every line of decency and legality by attempting to intimidate a high ranking officer of the law through baseless allegations of blackmail and corruption. It is an affront to the Nigerian state that a private citizen would feel empowered to address a DIG with such condescension, calling her “Mama” while simultaneously issuing veiled threats that she will “learn the hard way” if she does not abandon her constitutional duties. This behaviour constitutes a direct attempt to obstruct the course of justice and undermine the authority of the Force Criminal Investigation Department. VeryDarkMan claims his social media platform is superior to the law and uses it as a weapon to bully public officials who are tasked with maintaining order and investigating crimes. Allowing such public harassment to go unpunished sets a dangerous precedent where influencers believe they can dictate the direction of police investigations through digital mob action and character assassination. His statement that the path the DIG is taking is a burning one is a clear attempt to incite fear and prevent a public officer from carrying out her lawful mandate. The Nigerian Police Force must act decisively to protect its officers from this brand of cyber intimidation and verbal assault. We cannot have a society where the rule of law is replaced by the whims of a social media personality who believes he is above the statutes of the land. This individual should be taken into custody immediately to answer for these defamatory statements and his attempts to interfere with active legal proceedings. Justice must be served, and the dignity of the Nigerian Police Force must be upheld against those who seek to drag its leadership into disrepute for the sake of online engagement. Condemning these actions is not enough; there must be firm legal consequences to ensure that the office of the DIG and the entire police structure remain respected and free from intimidation. Arresting VeryDarkMan will serve as a deterrent to others who believe that a large following gives them the right to threaten the custodians of our national security.

The SA Police Service 🇿🇦 says it has “taken note of a video depicting alleged preferential treatment and favouritism given to an accused person who is currently in police custody.l “At the time of the incident, the accused who is currently in police custody, is seen being allowed physical contact with his spouse which is not allowed. SAPS management is investigating this incident and internal departmental processes are underway against the members concerned. The SAPS will also establish if the members searched the contents of the bag of the spouse to ensure that the content may not be used to facilitate an escape or endanger the lives of others…”
