It makes such a difference to a small community like Randolph to have a modern, safe fire station that will help save lives. As Appropriations Chair, I’m proud to have secured $2.6 million toward this project and to celebrate with Chief Cunningham and the whole department.

Today, the Colorado Springs Fire Department deployed additional resources to assist with the #AspenAcresFire, including a Type 6 brush truck, Engine 4, Wildland 4, and a Battalion Chief. As we continue supporting our neighbors to the south, we want our community to know that additional staffing has been put in place here at home to ensure Colorado Springs remains fully protected. Liam had told Harry he wanted to be a fireman to save lives, it was a vulnerable moment he shared. Kate makes so many things that liam did, a mockery and uses it to promote her platforms. She also ignores the fact that Geoff states he didn't have a phone and wanted to remove himself from being on social media. We made it to easy for Argentina in that second half sitting back like we did. We should have kept on pushing forward and attacking. Bad move from Tuchel, he made a gamble and he lost. I’m gutted. And so is the whole country. But I’m proud of our players, they have been bloody brilliant. I’m proud of our fans who have travelled across the pond to support our boys. “At 6:00 this morning the Fire Department was alerted to a report of a fire at 2086 Anthony Avenue. We arrived to find heavy fire in two buildings and very quickly transmitted a 2nd alarm. It eventually became a 3rd alarm, bringing more than 40 fire and EMS units and 150 fire and EMS personnel to the scene. We had fire throughout two buildings, and unfortunately, we did have two fatalities,” said Chief of Department John Esposito. “We did unfortunately have a car parked on the closest fire hydrant. We’ve seen that now a couple of times in the last week throughout the City. We all know that we should not be parking on fire hydrants and when you park on fire hydrants, it slows us down. When we’re fighting a fire, seconds count.” The GNY Red Cross and NYC Emergency Management are on scene to assist displaced residents. FDNY Fire Marshals are investigating the cause and origin of the fire.

Don’t take the bat into the red. Send it there. There’s a big difference. So, I have always had a problem with down and back behind for a barrel cue. I’ve always felt that it makes hitter stuck and uphill. That’s not what I’m promoting here. The energy is created next to the back shoulder so the space is not behind, it’s to the side. So it may feel like you’re swinging out toward the first base dugout, but the body is turning sideways to home plate and taking the barrel forward. #hittingtalk
