Notre Dame AD Pete Bevacqua doesn’t see how the CFP committee could drop the Irish out of the playoff and put Miami in without either having played a game this week. “Our hope is, if Texas Tech can beat BYU, we’re in. Question is, are we going to be 10 or 9?” Lotta confidence.

Do you believe Notre Dame makes the #CFBPlayoff? If Texas Tech beats BYU… the committee has put Notre Dame MULTIPLE spots ahead of Miami in all 5 of their rankings despite h2h result. How can Miami jump 2 spots ahead of the Irish this week by sitting at home on the couch?

After five weeks of being ranked ahead of Miami plus a ten game winning streak, Notre Dame has been left out of the 12-team CFP field. Regardless of a three-loss SEC team getting blown out yesterday with negative rushing yards… It’s time that ND joins a conference

Paul Finebaum isn’t having any of Notre Dame being ranked ahead of Miami. “There is a bias. Let’s just go ahead and admit it. And this committee, I have no earthly idea why they can’t move beyond it because they’re supposed to be objective…I feel badly for Miami.”

BYU coach Kalani Sitake might be on to something here re: the CFP and Championship Weekend: "If teams aren't going to play in a championship game, but they are going to be in the Playoff — they should all play a 13th game."

The College Football Playoff is absolute Chaos right now… There are 10 spots already spoken for & if Bama & BYU win conference championships, ALL 12 teams will already be set in stone. That means no Notre Dame/Miami/Texas/Vandy

Notre Dame WR commit Kaydon Finley is putting in serious offseason work — the kind that separates good from special. Finley chose Notre Dame over Texas, where his dad won a National Championship… and later a Super Bowl. And he’s not shy about why: “Notre Dame is the best university in the Nation. I’m going to win a National Championship with Coach Free.” 👀

Notre Dame. Penn State. CFP Orange Bowl. Steve Angeli: 6-of-7, 44 yards, architect of a drive resulting in the Fighting Irish’s first three points. ND might not make it to the national championship game without No. 18’s late-half heroics. Never forget.

According to John Brice of Football Scoop on the Irish Illustrated Insider, he's been told that relations between Notre Dame and the ACC are "Cold War-esque". This coming after the ACC Social Media accounts are blatantly lobbying for Miami over ND specifically. Which according to their own grant of rights they can't do to another member of their conference, even if ND is Independent in Football. The ACC going to war with Notre Dame is certainly a choice. Especially with Notre Dame being one of the main reasons the ACC has stayed afloat through realignment. 🎥:(Irish Illustrated Insider) 🔗

Texas was the ONLY SEC team to defeat a P4 non-conference opponent in a bowl game. This team was a LEGITIMATE THREAT to WIN the National Championship if they weren’t ROBBED from a College Football Playoff spot.

Texas A&M beat Notre Dame 41-40 in a major ranked non-conference showdown early in the season last year. This matchup means absolutely nothing in a 24-team format. 10-2 Notre Dame is comfortably in anyway and the devastating 1-point home loss to Texas A&M is forgotten.
