It seems increasingly likely that the SAS committed war crimes in Afghanistan. If proven in the Afghanistan Special Forces Inquiry, the government must bring the UK special forces under parliamentary oversight. BBC News (UK) at Ten with some comments from me.

@BBCNews Dear Mike, How did you vote for a British National Inquiry into the cover-up of gang rape? Afghan people deserve protection and justice just like British young girls. Do you agree?

@BBCNews Did their job. You traitor.

@BBCNews As we enter a new dangerous world and race for resources, only Britian could actively destroy one its best military assets in the name of the lost global order. 😂 we are so, so, so fucked. China, Russia, Turkey, India, America are laughing at us.

@BBCNews Agree, but let’s wait for the actual results of the inquiry.

@BBCNews Got your 30 seconds of "look at me" in there, eh Mike? So THIS must have been where you were yesterday, when you were instead meant to be voting on the grooming inquiry on behalf of your constituents. I've been trying to figure out why you didn't vote on something so important!

@BBCNews No. Parliament is more dysfunctional than any branch of armed forces. Inquiry can’t ‘prove’ war crimes on criminal evidential burden. This is a perfect storm of poor SAS leadership and Offr/NCO imbalance under pressure from coalition bosses. SAS needs a reducer, but not that.

@martinbrice1 @BBCNews anyone concerned about the distributed web revenge plots on UK citizens? using the urban environment to recreate civilian victim experiences? sudden death death in bedrooms domestic shootings suffocations muzzled guns 6th avenue etc #rockstarsandpockmarks

@BBCNews Seems likely, their Australian counterpart did some heinous things.

@BBCNews Oh please fuck off you tool.

@BBCNews All these desk jockeys have no idea about the trails of war, they sit polishing a chair in their warm office thinking how they can further their career whilst people put their lives on the line seeing unspeakable sights. Politicians who support this should be ashamed.
