Meanwhile, the smartest most insightful—and especially notable, wisest—ones don’t spend time on Facebook. (Unlike me they don’t waste time here either. I did say wisest.) This is a bigger obstacle to societal improvement than many realize. Facebook is the new coffee clatch, the Tupperware party, library book club for informed mothers. A massive group to be influenced, farmed, watched, controlled.

Don’t forget that Facebook and Google utilized DARPAS coding heavily. In fact, Google used to THANK DARPA on their original splash page until people started putting two and two together. Then all mention ceased. I used to have a screenshot of it but lost it in a phone change.

Facebook dot com was a social media site since the year 2000. It's on the WayBack Machine. Its founder had the same founder story they gave Zuck. The story was that the college kid downloaded all the classmates from the school's computer.

I can’t find the article but very early in FB existence the news printed a story that FB and DARPA were working together to catalog the “threads” of our lives.

DARPA is the beginning of nearly every major tech company in the US. Amazon, Google, Facebook were all started with government money by government employees. The faces associated with the companies all have deep familial ties to DARPA!

Not to forget that Peter Thiel was one of the first investors for Facebook

I didn't watch the video and I'm convinced DARPA's LifeLog must have been a genocidal gambit that was going to get too inclusive I believe a civilization can literally whack 3% of their population a year no problem, things get dicey after 5% and at 10% there's a chance justice may get served

Facebook is a big NO for me for these reasons. People oppose digital observance but post everything about themselves to their hearts content.
