The struggle for Telangana was never just a movement. it was a fight for our very existence. A fight for water, because our rivers flowed away while our fields dried. A fight for jobs, because our youth stood in their own land but opportunities were taken elsewhere. A fight for projects & development, because our rights were treated like favours. Every slogan, every march, every tear, every sacrifice… It was all for dignity, It was all for our future, It was all for Telangana. Telangana wasn’t given to us. Right now running for governor, Michigan has the Democrat mayor of Detroit running as an independent, and a Secretary of State who is under investigation for election malfeasance. I’ve been a big supporter of them and Harlon and I will continue to do that. We’ll fly back from Arizona and go to Ford Field. My respect is for the university. I love this place and all 650,000 alums. I really hope our players look at it like we’re playing for a lot of people. When we made our run in 2009 in Detroit, it was about playing for the state. Well, I wanna play for Michigan State. I hope this team plays for the name on the front (Michigan State) and we help people get through some tough times.”
