In Young Sheldon, Georgie was never a "bully" to Sheldon. They were just very distant. Missy called Sheldon names way more often, but was also closer to him

None of that was Sheldon’s fault. It was his mother’s fault for coddling him too much. Yes he had a lot of mental difficulties due to his phobias and clear signs of Autism Spectrum Disorder and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. However, often times instead of making him face those challenges head on like his adult friends did, his mother instead overprotected him. It’s why he was so distant and difficult when it concerned other people and he never really understood his father or his siblings. Only through writing his memoir in Young Sheldon does he acknowledge the things he missed because of that. The showrunners just didn’t want to limit their creativity by officially diagnosing him. Which is why they just labeled it as being “Sheldon”

I’m still glad I never watched this very unfunny show.

It gets so much better when you watch Young Sheldon before Big Bang Theory and youre like: "Sheldon is just making shit up."

What people don’t seem to understand is the fact that no one told him that things weren’t good for them he wouldn’t know. He doesn’t have that type of awareness. It’s autism.
