item-on-kart hits: the one netcode test a solo clip cant actually show

actually it can! when you throw an item, it exists simultaneously on the client and the server. When you get hit by your own item, if the client and server disagree you would experience rollback. Hence no rollback = server agreed = same as in a multiplayer scenario

There's only one player, how can the collision and netcode be solid? Wrong demo?

Oh I've been testing multiplayer too! Just didn't have anyone else to hop on and test with me when I recorded this clip. You'll see though, the netcode is absolutely fantastic in multiplayer!
