I hope Trump bans all exports of diesel today. A beautiful outcome where the net zero community can have their dreams come true this Christmas. If diesel hits £3.50, it’ll be comical to watch. Vote for idiots, get stupidity 🤣

Britain facing a diesel crunch while we sit next to North Sea oil and gas. You couldn’t script it. The Government’s policy is still to issue no new licences to explore new oil and gas fields, while keeping existing fields operating. Meanwhile a global diesel shortage is biting and US politicians are even pushing Trump to restrict diesel exports. Energy security isn’t a slogan. Britain needs a serious plan to secure its own supplies instead of leaving itself exposed every time the world catches fire.
