I'm seeing a lot of people saying it is just a bad upscaling instead of Gen AI, but it is indeed Gen AI animation. There are things going on in it that just don't make any sense for puppet animation. Here are some parts that make it clear, I slowed down the video so it's easier to notice the chunky parts. I checked the past ADs and it's possible to notice details (from an animator's POV) that are common and make sense for human work, so it was definitely a choice to use AI on this new AD

The whole level shifting is kind of a fun effect but this would 100% give some people motion sickness XD It's perhaps a bit "too much" anyway. Anyways, we're getting entities actually coded instead of the fakery I was doing for the prototype! I think ghosthands gimmick will be that they have a set patrol. They can't see or hear. And they won't notice you so long as you sit still while they pass. Could have a bit of fun with it and have them rarely accidentally grope her in passing even if she's still 😅

It's important to know that the Thing which is sometimes called a "camel spider" is better called a solpugid or solifugid. It's not a spider at all. It has no venom glands, and kills prey by crunching them up with their massive jaws (the most powerful for their size of any animal). A really big one can nip you, and probably draw blood if you let it hang on long enough. But no venom of any sort. They just look super scary. I kept one as a pet for a while but it was a pretty terrible pet because all it wanted to do was escape the terrarium 24/7. Spiders, scorpions, and mantises are way more chill.

I think it's interesting that we're starting to see different types of specialists emerge in the field of Generative AI technology. We are seeing a new generation of world-class storytellers. Some are immaculate at vibe coding workflows and building infrastructures. Some are incredible at AI visual effects and AI cinematography. And some are just maestros at composition and world-building. And of course, many of us dip into all facets. We are witnessing the emergence of new creative and technical roles that didn't exist yesterday, and that's very exciting. And now we are starting to see the benefits of AI as an additive to existing workflows. I hope to work with many of you for the upcoming productions we have in the works at Promise.

16 time PGA Tour winner Justin Thomas on the Philly golf scene getting ready to play Cricket Club tomorrow “It's spectacular. Obviously I would love to play some of the other courses: I haven't played Merion. I'm honestly kind of bummed that I hadn't played here beforehand because I selfishly would have tried to go play Merion while I was here, but I feel like it's in my best interest and my job to play the golf course that I'm playing this week. I feel like obviously to me, it's just a different style and a different look of golf up here. There's a place that's really close by that I was driving past, and they all look so cool. I kind of think of it similar to like in Scotland or Ireland: there's no bad golf courses it seems like you can play, you know what I mean? They all look so unique. They have the old templates, the old kind of architecture and the crazy green complexes, the bunkering. Just something about the bent fairways and the rye, bluegrass rough, how it just kind of shapes the hole. It looks really cool. I think that there's so many, so many great courses that I'm sure we could have tournaments like this at, but just the infrastructure and the property itself don't allow for all of it. So it's cool that we get to come to a new place like this and experience it and play it.”

HTML Artifacts are a big part of how I work with agents now. Artifacts can be more than just static files. When combined with agents, they can take action or help you take action. This unlocks all kinds of interesting ways to work with agents. This is clearly the future. Check out this writing and scheduler artifact I built in a few minutes. It uses a bit of HTML and JS. All the data is in markdown (Obsidian vaults), so the agent can access and modify it at any time. No DB needed. No sophisticated functionalities. The agent decides all that for me based on the skills, context, and memory it has access to. The best part about this simple stack is that all the important information stays with me. This has allowed me to build a recursive self-improving system and automations that can better tap into coding agents like Codex or Claude Code. I could have paid or built an entire app for scheduling posts, and there are so many of them out there. But I don't need to. I've realized a simple artifact does the job. And the simplicity of it is actually an advantage. Very little maintenance for very high returns on personalization, time, and efficiency. The other benefit of this is that I can add features as I please. That level of personalization feels magical, and we should all be pursuing more of it. All of this just keeps compounding. Of course, this example is just about writing. But I have similar artifacts for research, design, experimentation, evaluation, and so much more. And no, I didn't actually publish the post example I shared in the clip. It was just for demonstration purposes. I actually spend more time than this when writing together with agents. Lastly, having built my own agent orchestrator tool has made me realize that simplifying the tool stack is a superpower. Dynamic workflows are a generalization of harnesses, automations, loops, routing, and graphs. It's the most powerful feature I have built into my agent orchestrator. Supports all kinds of patterns that leverage different agent backends (claude, codex, pi, hermes,...). It's a meta-harness approach that unlocks new forms of test-time compute. Example of use cases it supports: > LLM councils to get different perspectives from LLMs or plan more intensively > Dynamically routing tasks to different agents based on needs (e.g., cost efficiency and optimal intelligence) > Advisor/Judge + executor workflows and pretty much any complex graph-based pattern required by the task. I find it especially useful for long-running work and code reviewing. > Agent teams that talk to each other if needed for the task. I like to use this for AI editing, artifact creation, and other creative tasks. And I am sure it supports so many things that I haven't discovered yet. I got inspired by the dynamic workflow feature released by the Claude Code team. I had actually built it earlier this year but wanted to generalize it across different agent backends. I think this is going to become more popular in the coming days. I will share more of my findings soon.
