It's a simple task for modern PC's, but sometimes I still notice just how many things are happening all at once and fear it would lag 😅 This effect has 7 different types of particles alone! #ScreenshotSaturday #vfx #pixelart #gamedev

$PONS officially made me a millionaire. the tears are literally coming to my eyes. it's crazy how quickly life can change, sometimes i think it was just luck. but that would take away from all the work i've put in to get here. starting september with over $1m in my account still feels like a dream, but it's real. i love this world, and i love myself for never giving up.

I'm seeing a lot of people saying it is just a bad upscaling instead of Gen AI, but it is indeed Gen AI animation. There are things going on in it that just don't make any sense for puppet animation. Here are some parts that make it clear, I slowed down the video so it's easier to notice the chunky parts. I checked the past ADs and it's possible to notice details (from an animator's POV) that are common and make sense for human work, so it was definitely a choice to use AI on this new AD

Some early testing of this opensourced "Act-1" There are so many knobs to turn and test but it's incredibly promising I can get it better still this is just a couple hours of tickering - I want 1:1 expression transfer. Stay tuned!

President John Mahama is a different breed of leader. I’ve observed him for a long time and can confidently say this. Watch how he pauses, even when busy, to personally speak with his longtime friend. I sometimes fear for his life, but then I’m reminded that good things come to good people. Definitely a leader to emulate.

I see many people doing this kind of effect for their video, but I was like, mm why a single video, why not to do that to showcase the power of h3 max director on fal and how it can take different path and visualize in live ! Inspired by Brandon Eversole Much more to come, this was just made in a few minute

A&H, animation sketch. I felt like doing this for once, and there'll be a finished colored version soon. And chapter 18 has been going fine, tho there are a lot of new things to draw so it won't be coming out this month. But I'll give you all an animation for Christmas :)

Notice how all men are wearing T-shirts and shirts. While girls are trying to show as much body as possible. Don't tell me it's about comfort. They do it for attention. Just a few years back, no girl would show her body like this. Now this is empowering to them.

art that i commissioned from a friend (Allie) for the umvc3 community edition title screen. i'm mostly out of the game now but still wanted to do something, and this has been on the 'would be nice' list for like, years now haha. has a cool effect with the way it fades in.

The whole level shifting is kind of a fun effect but this would 100% give some people motion sickness XD It's perhaps a bit "too much" anyway. Anyways, we're getting entities actually coded instead of the fakery I was doing for the prototype! I think ghosthands gimmick will be that they have a set patrol. They can't see or hear. And they won't notice you so long as you sit still while they pass. Could have a bit of fun with it and have them rarely accidentally grope her in passing even if she's still 😅

It's important to know that the Thing which is sometimes called a "camel spider" is better called a solpugid or solifugid. It's not a spider at all. It has no venom glands, and kills prey by crunching them up with their massive jaws (the most powerful for their size of any animal). A really big one can nip you, and probably draw blood if you let it hang on long enough. But no venom of any sort. They just look super scary. I kept one as a pet for a while but it was a pretty terrible pet because all it wanted to do was escape the terrarium 24/7. Spiders, scorpions, and mantises are way more chill.

Paris would look very different today if it wasn’t for the disobedience of one man, General Dietrich von Choltitz. He was ordered today in 1944 by Hitler to destroy the city. The orders were simple: “Paris must not pass into the enemy’s hands, except as a field of ruins.” But he refused. After the war, Choltitz said, “If for this first time, I disobeyed, it was because I knew Hitler was crazy.” And so, the City of Light remains standing, and still has all the incredible monuments that were once in danger of being leveled.

I think it's interesting that we're starting to see different types of specialists emerge in the field of Generative AI technology. We are seeing a new generation of world-class storytellers. Some are immaculate at vibe coding workflows and building infrastructures. Some are incredible at AI visual effects and AI cinematography. And some are just maestros at composition and world-building. And of course, many of us dip into all facets. We are witnessing the emergence of new creative and technical roles that didn't exist yesterday, and that's very exciting. And now we are starting to see the benefits of AI as an additive to existing workflows. I hope to work with many of you for the upcoming productions we have in the works at Promise.

I promised myself I’d read more design books this year even created a whole folder for it 😅 But here we are, two months to the end of the year, and I can’t proudly say I’ve finished three 🤦🏽‍♀️ Sometimes, while we make plans life and time just sit back and laugh at us 🤧

16 time PGA Tour winner Justin Thomas on the Philly golf scene getting ready to play Cricket Club tomorrow “It's spectacular. Obviously I would love to play some of the other courses: I haven't played Merion. I'm honestly kind of bummed that I hadn't played here beforehand because I selfishly would have tried to go play Merion while I was here, but I feel like it's in my best interest and my job to play the golf course that I'm playing this week. I feel like obviously to me, it's just a different style and a different look of golf up here. There's a place that's really close by that I was driving past, and they all look so cool. I kind of think of it similar to like in Scotland or Ireland: there's no bad golf courses it seems like you can play, you know what I mean? They all look so unique. They have the old templates, the old kind of architecture and the crazy green complexes, the bunkering. Just something about the bent fairways and the rye, bluegrass rough, how it just kind of shapes the hole. It looks really cool. I think that there's so many, so many great courses that I'm sure we could have tournaments like this at, but just the infrastructure and the property itself don't allow for all of it. So it's cool that we get to come to a new place like this and experience it and play it.”
