Have you ever wished there were more disco versions of Yardbirds songs? Well good news, Lola Dee did a disco cover of For Your Love in 1978 and it's rather something! Lola Dee (who also recorded under the name Lola Ameche) started her career in 1950; her biggest selling hit was a version of Only You released in 1955. She continued her career as a nightclub singer and retired from performing in 1978, but left with this rockin' disco number. Do enjoy!

I've been seeing what you've all been saying about Joan & so many of you reaching out to the company to disassociate with her. No. That's not what we stand for. Instead of "cancelling" counselling her is more productive. We had a 2hrs talk of open discussion. Joan is one of the fastest raising car influencers that we have. As our student, we have the burden of not just teaching her how to fix cars but also guide her where we can. Partly because of her , we've expanded our business, which has created the need of us employing more people. Indirectly, she has created jobs. More families are getting fed by the end of the day, all thanks to her efforts as an influencer . Her downfall would affect so many. No, we don't cancel. We counsel . And just to clarify, she is nowhere close to the accusations made. This can be confessed by those who know her in person or those who have interacted with her. We look forward to even better & more educative & engaging content from her.

Our beautiful old ragamuffin Lola peacefully went to sleep forever. It was her time 🐶🌈 Originally from Romania, Lola had been brought over to a UK rescue. Too feral to rehome she was kept on her own in a cold barn, living in the most squalid conditions. When her rescue was closing down we were asked to help. We can only be there for dogs like Lola thanks to our Golden Paw Club members whose £5 a month enables us to take dogs who need more care. Some would say dogs like Lola aren't worth saving, but it has been our privilege to make her last couple of years her very best. We have more supporters needing to pause their subscriptions than ever. Of course we understand, times are so hard. But if anyone were fortunate enough to be the position to pick up the baton and join today it would mean the world. Because together we can make such a difference 💜

I feel bad for her cause she doesn’t deserve this, nobody does.. Hollywood paparazzi are just unhinged, they don’t know boundaries!🥺 #Beckysangels #BeckyInLA As you can see Becky clearly wants to go to her fans she kept on pointing at us, she even told them that “My fans are there.” I’m glad she didn’t come to us cause we all don’t want her to get hurt, we were already screaming to leave her alone.🥺 On the other hand, My heart is so full of Love! The way how she show her love for her fans, she even mouthed “Sorry” to us, sorry that she can’t come near, sorry that we waited and we didn’t get a proper goodbye to each other.. Video of another protest while we were canvassing. I had a crew setup on a service road on the north side of the intersection. They called to inform me that a crazy lady was blocking the whole road with her car, and giving everyone the "bird", so I walked over there. I turned on my camera and started recording as soon I I got within earshot of her. Watched and listen how quickly she changes her story. She tucked her tail between her legs and walked away. Following that I had a hot mic moment, where we shared a few stories from the afternoon. Enjoy, and sorry for some of the colourful language. Everyone should canvass.

And even when she was in the group the girls always spoke about wanting her AURA. Her magnetism is what got her into DA, what got people rooting for her then/now and one of the many things we love about her. #WATCH | North 24 Parganas, West Bengal: Mother of deceased doctor in the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital rape-death case says, "First we got a call from the hospital that your daughter is sick, then the call was disconnected. After that when I called and asked what happened, they told me to come to the hospital. When we called again, the (caller) identified himself as Assistant Super and said your daughter has committed suicide. She went to duty on Thursday, we got this call on Friday at 10:53am. When we reached there, we were not allowed to see her, we were allowed to see her at 3 o'clock. Her pants were open, there was only one piece of cloth on her body. Her hand was broken, blood was coming out of her eyes, mouth. Just by looking at her, it seemed that someone had murdered her. I told them it is not suicide, it's a murder. We worked so hard to make our daughter a doctor but she was murdered." On Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's call, she says, "She (Mamata Banerjee) said that the culprit will be arrested as soon as possible, but nothing has happened so far. One person has been arrested. I am sure many more are involved in this incident. I think the entire department is responsible for the incident... The police did not do a good job at all. I feel that the Chief Minister is trying to stop the protest, today she imposed Section 144 here so that people cannot protest." On the CP, she says, "They did not cooperate with us at all, they only tried to hush up the case as soon as possible. Their attempt was to get the post-mortem done as soon as possible and remove the body."
